We are seeking a skilled Shotcrete Specialist to join our team. The Shotcrete Specialist will be responsible for applying shotcrete through a nozzle at high velocity onto surfaces to create or repair concrete walls, tunnels, pools, and other structures.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience working as a Shotcrete Specialist or a similar role
– In-depth knowledge of shotcrete application techniques and equipment
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
– Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity
– Certification in shotcrete application is a plus
Responsibilities:
– Prepare surfaces for shotcrete application by cleaning and repairing as needed
– Set up and operate shotcrete equipment according to project specifications
– Apply shotcrete evenly and smoothly to achieve desired thickness and finish
– Monitor and adjust nozzle position, spray angle, and concrete flow during application
– Inspect finished shotcrete work for quality and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
– Maintain shotcrete equipment and tools in good working condition
– Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times
– Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met
