The Shotcrete Line Pump Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining shotcrete line pumps on construction sites, ensuring efficient and safe transportation and application of shotcrete materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safely operating shotcrete line pumps to deliver shotcrete materials to specified sites.
- Monitor pump operations to ensure efficiency and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Prepare and clean the equipment before and after each use, including maintaining hoses and pumps.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while on-site.
- Collaborate with crew members to set up pump lines, mix materials, and ensure proper application of shotcrete.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on pumping equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and hours worked.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure quality and adherence to engineering standards.
- Drive various company vehicles to and from job sites as needed.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support project success.
Qualifications:
- CDL Class A Driver’s License
- High school diploma/GED and prior construction experience preferred
- Proven experience operating shotcrete line pumps or similar equipment preferred
- Knowledge of shotcrete materials and mixing techniques preferred
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Other Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety or willingness to learn.
Work Environment:
This position will have potential exposure to loud noise, moving equipment, dust and outdoor elements. The worker is exposed to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including extreme cold and heat for extended periods exceeding one hour.
