COVID-19 Policy: 2022

Put your masks back on starting January 3, 2022
or be fully vaccinated and have your card!

GET VACCINATED ASAP FOR FUTURE OSHA REQUIREMENTS!

(Prior COVID infection does not constitute being vaccinated)

If symptoms occur, regardless of vaccination status, individuals should immediately quarantine until a negative test confirms symptoms are not attributable to COVID-19

Employee’s WILL NOT be paid while out due to Covid.  You can use your paid-time off (PTO)/vacation.  We will allow you to use up to 40 unaccrued hours.

  • You can return to work, regardless of vaccination status, and be around others after:
    • 5 days since symptoms first appeared and
    • 24 hours with no fever, and without the use of fever-reducing medication and
    • you no longer have COVID symptoms
      • Note: loss of taste and smell may persist for weeks or months after recovery, no need to delay the end of isolation
  • Continue to wear a mask for 5 additional days when returning to work.

Proof of vaccination will be required. Vaccination cards must be uploaded into Employee Navigator.

“Employees are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completing primary vaccination with a COVID-19 vaccine with, if applicable, at least the minimum recommended interval between doses. For example, this includes two weeks after a second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine, or two weeks after the second dose of any combination of two doses of different COVID-19 vaccines as part of one primary vaccination series.”

Someone who has been fully vaccinated and shows no symptoms of COVID-19 does not need to quarantine. However, if you:

  • Have been boosted, OR had their second dose of Moderna or Pfizer within the last 6 months, OR received the J&J dose within the last 2 months:
    • wear a mask around others for 10 days
    • test on day 5
  • Had their second dose of Moderna or Pfizer over 6 months and are not boosted, OR received the J&J dose over 2 months and are not boosted:
    • stay home for 5 days
    • return to work and wear a mask around others for 5 additional days
    • test on day 5

**If you can’t quarantine, you MUST wear a mask at all times for 10 days.**

If you are NOT VACCINATED, you must:

  • stay home for 5 days
  • wear a mask around others for 5 additional days
  • test on day 5

**If you can’t quarantine, you MUST wear a mask at all times for 10 days.**

Exposure includes being within 6 feet of someone who is COVID positive for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.

Testing shall be the responsibility of the employee moving forward.  We will not be paying for any COVID testing.  Employees that show up to work with symptoms will be sent home unless there is a negative test result.

“COVID-19 test means a test for SARS-CoV-2 that is:

(i) Cleared, approved, or authorized, including in an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), by the FDA to detect current infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus (e.g., a viral test);

(ii) Administered in accordance with the authorized instructions; and

(iii) Not be both self-administered and self-read unless observed by the employer or an authorized telehealth proctor. Examples of tests that satisfy this requirement include tests with specimens that are processed by a laboratory (including home or on-site collected specimens which are processed either individually or as pooled specimens), proctored over-the-counter tests, point of care tests, and tests where specimen collection and processing is either done or observed by an employer.”
